Dr. Patricia Dearman

Dr. Patricia Dearman is the Founder and Clinical Director of Woodlands Psychotherapy and Brain Training.  Dr. Dearman received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston with a specialization in Mental Health.  She then received her Ph.D from the University of Texas Arlington where she completed her thesis on the differences between those who overcome trauma and those who don’t.  Dr. Dearman became interested in Neurotherapy after she received her doctorate and while working for a Mental Health clinic in Katy.  She saw the potential for brain-based interventions to compliment the Psychotherapeutic techniques she was already employing to make treatment outcomes more effective.  This led her to become a Board Certified Neurotherapist in addition to her other licensure.  In addition to neurotherapy, Dr. Dearman specializes in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Trauma Resolution.
